Great tour, wonderful sceneries, Sarah (our tour guide) was amazing, the horses seemed well treated and healthy, didn't feel rushed at all, learned a lot about Colombiabas a whole. 100% would recommend!VerifiedAnna-Karin S2024-11-17A great day at the coffee farm! One of the favorite things we did on our recent Colombia trip was to take a tour of this coffee farm. We got a full hands on experience, from picking ripe coffee beans and then to see how the beans were processed. To finally get to try a few different ways of preparing coffee to drink. It was a really great experience and we learned a lot. Bonus was that the farm had the cutest and friendliest little rooster. If you find yourself in Medellin I would highly recommend to take this tour. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, as was the family that owned the farm that allowed us to visit. Sara our tour guide was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable and taught us so much history about coffee growing and making in Colombia. She picked us up at our hotel and brought us back afterwards. We spent about 4,5 hours in total on the tour and it passed by very quickly. We took this tour on October 16, 2024Verifiednycalamode2024-11-17Like a Knowledgeable Local Friend We had Daniel (Danny) as our guide for a private Comuna 13 tour. (We were two people). The setup and communication with MedellinDayTrips was quick and easy and Daniel arrived out our place exactly on time. The booking and pickup was seamless. Daniel's English is perfect and he was open to moving at our pace and offering options of things to do/experience in Comuna 13. Overall, it felt like we were walking around with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a robotic tour guide.VerifiedLourdes G2024-11-15Great day in Guatape This tour was fantastic! Daniel, our guide, was super attentive, answered all our questions, open to whatever we wanted to do and very knowledgeable. He also gave us tips for our stay in Medellin. He was a pleasure to be with him on this tour and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone coming to Medellin.VerifiedSophie S2024-11-15The best tour!!! My husband and I had the most fantastic day with Sara on our coffee and cacao tour. She was so informative, enthusiastic and there was never a dull moment. We loved her authenticity and the relationship she had with the farmers on the farms that we visited. It was so nice seeing what an incredible relationship she had with all of them which allowed us to have such a rewarding experience. I couldn’t recommend this tour more, what we learnt, how interactive it was, our yummy lunch and the treats that we got to try were fantastic. Not to mention the view of the Andes, absolutely breathtaking. It was so incredible to get out of the city and appreciate the beauty that Medellin/surrounds has to offer. This was 100% my partner and I’s favourite tour that we have done on our trip around central and South America!VerifiedJuliahna G2024-11-14Best things to do in Medellin! This was hands down my number one favorite thing I’ve done in Colombia and I’ve made four trips to Bogota and Medellin this year! You get to go through the end-to-end process of making coffee from scratch and chocolate from scratch and both taste absolutely unbelievable, better than any chocolate or coffee I’ve ever had. On top of that, booking through this tour company supports two small independent farms and their beautiful families. As part of this tour, you’ll get to meet the farmers, play with their dogs and kids, and walk through their beautiful farms and homes. If you go, you should request a tour from Sarita. She is an absolute burst of energy and her knowledge of her country is so impressive. It would be impossible not to have an amazing day with her as your guide. If you can only do one thing in Medellin, do this!VerifiedOmeed A2024-11-14Half Day Coffee Adventure Yuly picked us right from our hotel and we were at the farm in no time at all. She gave us a nice explanation of how the cities neighborhoods are made up on the drive over. The farm was nestled up in the hills around the city with nice views. We had a very thorough explanation of the coffee making process and got to try 4 different methods of making the coffee. We also walked through the farm and got to pick some coffee beans and then take it through the different processes. Bought some very tasty coffee at affordable prices that we get to take back home and share. Definitely a worthwhile experience when you’re in Medellin either as a couple, group or solo. Highly recommend.VerifiedAnnieLDR2024-11-14Great Coffee Farm Experience Yuly was a great guide from the beginning to the end of the trip! She was punctual, her driving made us feel safe, she’s knowledgable about the coffee making process, and easy to talk to.
