My friend and I have traveled all over the world, and Erika it’s hands-down one of the absolute best guides we have ever had. From the moment she picked us up at our Airbnb, to the time when she dropped us off, she was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, caring, and just all around amazing. The drive felt quick because of her wonderful talks about the country and all the sites we were seeing. Her knowledge level is astounding. she made sure that both my friend and I were able to do everything we wanted to, because the two of us do not have quite the same tastes. The way she was able to please, and accommodate both of us was incredible. I cannot say enough about all the sites we saw, the boat ride that was set up, a smooth trip for me at the rock, and the way Erika made sure that I had an incredible guide for the paragliding. We loved Erika so much that we booked two more tours with her during our short stay. We would return to Medellin just to be able to take a tour with Erika again

Really appreciated this private tour. We were on a time crunch and wanted to do as much as possible in the few days we had in Medellín. Laura was able to coordinate everything and find alternative routes to avoid some traffic so we could get to the paragliding spot on time. Driving from Medellin to Guatape then to Cocorna was a feat we wouldn’t have been able to do by ourselves.

One thing I really appreciated was how proactive and communicative she was with the paragliding team. The weather was constantly shifting, but she stayed on top of it and worked closely with them to find the perfect window to fly. It made all the difference and ensured I didn’t miss out on the experience.
Also, a big shoutout to Andrés for suggesting we move the tour to Monday instead of Easter Sunday—such smart advice! We avoided all the traffic and crowds, which was a game changer since I had limited time. I got to enjoy everything without feeling rushed and made it back with no stress.
Overall, an incredible experience made even better by Sara’s passion, professionalism, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

Paragliding was a blast. The pilots are well trained, safety orientated, and fun. When we landed I wanted to do it again.

This is a must do adventure! We had such a blast with our guide, Andrés! It was incredible paragliding and seeing the most beautiful views, definitely an adventure we’ll never forget and can’t wait to do again! The pilots are very well trained and safe. Driving over to Guatape was also an exciting part of the trip – beautiful scenery and learning cool facts and history from Andrés made the experience so much richer. When we finally got to Guatape, it was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Climbing Peñon was an excellent addition to the experience. Whether you’re eating local fruits, exploring a local town, learning history, trying delicious foods, or anything else, the entire experience is AMAZING and we highly, highly recommend. It is safe, fun, and trustworthy. To make the best of your trip, don’t hesitate booking this!

Guatape and Paragliding Tour Itinerary:
After we pick you up at your hotel we make our way through the mountains in a comfortable private car.
It takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to our first stop.
First stop: Paragliding
After we pick you up at your place the drive to the paragliding spot is a bit more than an hour in an enjoyable drive through the mountains.
We accompany you throughout the whole process such as help you with the insurance registration, keeping your belongings safe and taking the best photos of you during take off, flying and landing.
We do this activity with certified and experienced local pilots that provide safe and fun flights using the safest equipments. The pilot will give you the instructions to take off and what to do in the air.
This paragliding flight will be an unforgettable experience since you will be flying over mountains, rivers and towns.
The green color of the mountains is so vivid that together with a 90 meters (295 ft) beautiful waterfall make you feel that you are flying over a paradise.
The intention is that the flight lasts 15 minutes, however, depending on the weather conditions (currents of wind and air temperature) the flight time could be shorter or longer.
The altittude is close to 5000ft (1550 mts).
After landing we get back in the car and drive for around 1 hour towards our next destination: the impressive rock of El Peñol.
Second Stop: Climbing Up The Rock of El Peñol
At this massive rock you get the chance to climb it. It has 749 steps and takes around 50 minutes to go up and down.
Once you reach the top, you can stay up there for as long as you wish as you witness one of the most beautiful views you have ever seen.
This is not only our opinion but that of hundreds of tourists we have taken there.

Third Stop: Guatape Town The City of Zocalos
Our next destination is Guatape, one of the most colorful and picturesque towns in Colombia.
At this town we take a fully narrated walking tour through the town's landmarks: church, main square, remembrance street, Zocalos Square and more.
Once the walking tour has concluded we take you to the best restaurant in town to have a traditional delicious lunch (not included in the tour) where you have more than 20 different options to try the local cuisine accompanied by a cold sangria or a craft beer.
After we have seen all the beautiful places this town has to offer we start our journey back to Medellin, with a smile in your face and full of good memories and photos.

We went on the paragliding and Guatape tour with Andres and it was amazing! Andres was so informative and kept us feeling so safe the entire trip! We learned so much about Medellín, Guatape and all the surrounding areas. We loved climbing the rock and he calmed any fears we had about paragliding!
