Comuna 3 Mural Tour Itinerary:

After we pick you up at your place we drive around 20 minutes to arrive to our destination: Constelaciones.

We meet up with our local guide who is also one of the artists that participated in the painting of many of the murals.

After getting some context of this place we start walking around the neighborhood.

This place has been recently opened to tourism and that’s why is rare to see tourists around.

Everyone you see is local with a smile in the face full of pride that people are visiting their neighborhood.

The Comuna 3 Mural Tour is more than just art.

Doing this tour you learn some stories of people that live in the neighborhood but are painted in murals as a recognition for the social work in the community.

You will be hearing stories of different people that had great and positive influence in the foundation of the neighborhood.

In many cases we get to know them later in the tour (if they are around) so we can interact with them and learn more about their lives.

After we have finished all the murals the last stop it’s a beautiful view point with a stunning view of Medellin.

The walking tour is around 2 hours and the driving time from El Poblado or Laureles is around 20 or 25 minutes each way
