This tour is the perfect combination if you are visiting Medellin for a short period of time and want to be in contact with beautiful and pristine nature.

We combine a fun ATV experience in trails covered by vegetation and great views including a small trekking (optional) to a beautiful waterfall with the most complete coffee farm tour you can do in Medellin.

Please note that when the tour is booked for two people the atv location will be different since the waterfall location receives a minimum of  3 Atvs.

Also the drivers must be at least 18 years to drive.

Coffee Tour & ATVs Itinerary:

After we pick you up at your hotel we drive south of Medellin for about 40 minutes to find our powerful ATVs.

ATVs ride and trekking in a dense jungle:

Once we get to the ATVs place the bikes will be waiting for us so we can start right away to be trained.

The ride’s duration is 1.5 hours (one hour and a half), not including the initial instructions and the waterfall trekking.

First of all, we give you all the instructions on how to properly ride ATVs so we can make it in the safest way.

Then we provide you with the equipment, namely a helmet and body protection.

We recommend you to wear trekking boots or sneakers but in any case avoid flip flops or sandals.

It is also recommended to bring with you spare clothes for after the ATVs adventure.

In Our Coffee Tour and ATVs Safety Comes First

This activity is very safe, however we provide an emergency insurance to the tour participants .

In addition, we provide two guides, one in the front to lead and the other in the back following.

This is to ensure your security at all times.

We pride ourselves on the fact that we have not had an accident to date in over 100 rides. This is why we advise you to follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

Trekking to the waterfall:

This is an additional activity included in the ride.

It is an easy walk to see a pristine waterfall.

In case you want to immerse your head or the entire body in the water you can, just remember to bring spare clothes with you.

After the amazing ATVs tour we proceed to change our clothes that might be muddy and continue to the car for a 20 minutes drive to the coffee farm tour.

Coffee Tour in Medellin: The most complete experience

The coffee farm experience takes place in a beautiful family farm that produces around 2 tons of coffee a year with 14.000 coffee plants.

We have a traditional delicious lunch to have energy to start learning everything about the coffee production.

The coffee expert gives you a thorough explanation about the coffee industry to have more context.

Then we start planting coffee seeds in a germinator and you get to try coffee bean as fruits. They're sweet and tasty!

Later on, we go to pick some coffee beans in the plantation with stunning views from the city.

After picking the coffee beans we continue to the rest of the process and you participate in each of them to have a deep understanding of the whole production.

The coffee steps you go through in our coffee tour are:

• Depulping
• Selecting, fermenting and washing
• Drying and re-selecting
• Threshing
• Roasting
• Grinding and packaging
