We didn’t know we saved the best for last… Sunday Food Tour!

It was our last night in town after 3 days of exploring Medellin and we wanted a “local” food experience to cap off our trip. Super glad we found the food tour with Andres of Medellin Day Trips. With enthusiasm and deep cultural knowledge, Andres took us to Sabaneta to enjoy local snacks, drinks, and dinner with the people who live in this vibrant neighborhood. It was more than just a food tour… Andres is your new best friend who is showing you the town and ensuring everyone has a great time. He also was open and helped us understand the local Colombian perspective on current events and framing what we learned and saw in our time in Colombia. OK the food was GREAT (like really great!), but what stood out to us was the all-in experience of joining locals having dinner, drinking and just having fun together. A great cap off of our trip to Medellin!
