Medellin Day Trips.com, is an agency specialized in private tours around Medellín and its outskirts. We are a group of experienced local tour guides who have been working in tourism as freelancers for many years. We offer one-day rural or urban trips in private cars, with English- speaking  guides and all the kindness that Medellin and its people have to offer.

Customization

Our aim is to turn your travel dreams into reality. Therefore, we work closely with you to customize an itinerary around your specific travel preferences so you can have the best possible experience. We welcome any group size, even if it is just you.
  • You decide where we go, when we go, and how long we stay.
  • Choose one of our set itineraries or set up your own at our Build Your Own Tour page.
  • You have total control over your own tour so you don’t have to compromise with a big tour company’s schedule or deal with strangers who have different interests and plans.
  • We can combine all kinds of tours (considering the distance and time). We could go to Plaza de Botero, Cable Car and then go visit a coffee farm or a flower farm, everything in the same day! You just name it and we´ll arrange it for you.

From city tours to rural rides, the time spent in these tours literally flies. If you decide to take a tour alone, we guarantee you it will also be fun. Bring your camera along and snap as many pictures as you wish while you witness both beautiful landscapes and architecture.

Multimedia Experience

Our tours include short film clips portraying images of what historic places looked like in the past or relevant pictures about the activity that will follow, so you have an idea of what you are about to see, enhancing your tour experience.

Eco-Friendly

Medellin Day Trips would not exist without the stunning beauty and outstanding landscapes that the State of Antioquia has to offer. This is why we recognize that we have a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improve its performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.

Our cars: We are proud to say that we strive at leaving the less possible carbon footprint by using hybrid cars with natural gas that don´t pollute our environment, therefore contributing to make our world more sustainable for our future generations.

In-house initiatives: Our brochures are printed using vegetable based inks on FSC mixed sources paper. All other marketing collateral is distributed either via usb or email to reduce the need for paper.

We have a “think before you print” policy and encourage staff to reduce usage of resources (i.e. lights off, computers off overnight etc.)
